The Carolina Calots was founded in 2022 as an official chapter of the Burroughs Bibliophiles for fans of the author Edgar Rice Burroughs and his works who live in North and South Carolina. Members from the coast to the mountains meet monthly via Zoom (and during occasional face-to-face meetings) to discuss and debate the various works of Burroughs and their influence on speculative fiction and popular culture today. New fans (novices) and seasoned scholars/collectors are all welcome to join the conversation.
